Pewsey hosting Wiltshire Council's final 'Ask the Leader' event
18 of the public sessions have been held across the county
One last 'Ask the Leader' session is being held by Wiltshire Council, for residents to question Cllr Richard Clewer on anything they like about the authority's work.
Pewsey's Vale Community Campus will host the event on Thursday 30th January, from 6.00 to 7.30pm.
Similar sessions have been put on in 18 other community areas of the county so far, with hundreds of people taking part.
The aim is to give people a chance to put their questions about the council, its priorities and objectives directly to the Leader.
Cllr Richard Clewer, Leader of Wiltshire Council, said:
“Thank you to everyone who came along to the last event in Amesbury. As has been the case with all of the events, it was really useful and productive to look in detail at areas of local concern and what can be done to resolve them.
“As we approach the final community area in this series of events which I’ve been doing for almost two years, I reflect on how valuable it has been to discuss our approach and hear your ideas about your communities. Having everyone in the room together has often led to solutions being found and the valuable insights I have gained from these conversations will be taken forward in our work in the future.
“The final event takes place in Pewsey on 30th January and I would encourage residents to come along and ask me any questions and find out more about the work we are doing.
“If people can’t make the event but would still like to ask a question, they can submit it in advance to [email protected].”
