Wiltshire charity urges making 'hope and change' New Year's resolutions
FearFree insist everyone deserves to live their best life
A Wiltshire charity is urging people suffering abuse to make finding safety their new year's resolution.
FearFree has told us it's ready to help anyone who's reaching out for help in 2025 - including those seeking to build healthier relationships.
The charity has shared a number of messages of hope, to remind people being harmed that their lives can be improved.
One reads, "Reach out, get support. You will be in safe and eventually, although it may not always feel like it, it will be worth the effort in the end."
The organisation insists that people suffering abuse - whether they're a perpetrator or victim - deserve to live the best life they can.
"You are stronger than you think," the next message reads, "Believe in yourself! There is a bright future out there for you to enjoy, love and savour.
"Go live and have the best life you can."
Another message of hope reminds victims that they're worth more than an abuser says they are, calling for people to speak to someone and make 'hope and change' their New Year's resolution.
Guidance on finding support to escape an unsafe relationship or to change unhealthy behaviours can be found on the FearFree website.
