Wiltshire Council are to use our input to inform their future plans for bus services and other public transport.

They are asking us to share our opinions and experiences of the current services and propose ideas that can shape a sustainable future for public transport in Wiltshire.

In its Business Plan, the council set out its mission to have vibrant, well-connected communities and increased public transport use to reduce carbon emissions.

Our input will guide the councils draft Public Transport Policy, which supports road-based public transport across the county to achieve social, environmental and economic goals of the council.

The consultation period started this week and ends on Friday 10th November at 23:59pm.

To take part in the survey, we should use this link.

Cllr Caroline Thomas, Cabinet Member for Transport, said: “We are committed to creating a more sustainable and accessible public transport system that enhances the lives of our residents, supports our local economy, and preserves our beautiful county.

“But we need the help of our communities to do this, and that’s why I’d urge people to take part in this consultation and have their say.

"Your feedback is invaluable in helping us achieve these objectives, so please participate in the consultation and let your voice be heard.”
