Swords and knuckle duster seized in Amesbury
Offensive weapons found during drugs raid by Police
These potentially deadly items were discovered on Wednesday (21 July 2021) by the Amesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team.
Officers were conducting 'Misuse of Drugs Act' warrants at addresses in the town.
As well as recovering drugs and drug paraphernalia, they seized swords and a knuckle duster.
Changes to the law brought about by the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 now make it illegal to keep items like knuckle dusters, throwing stars and zombie knives in private.
Amesbury Neighbourhood Policing Team say they will continue working tirelessly to disrupt drug supply in the area to make your community a safer place to be.
