Walk in Covid jabs now available EVERY day at Salisbury City Hall
Push to encourage more people to get vaccinated

Football may be coming home, now there's a fresh plea to get vaccinated to stop Covid-19 from doing the same.
Getting that all important jab is now easier as Salisbury City Hall is offering walk in appointments every day.
On Monday, the City Hall site delivered its 100,000th vaccine and it’s hoped the new open-door policy will encourage more people who have yet to be vaccinated to come forward.
Meanwhile the pharmacy in Downton is also offering walk in appointments today (8th July) tomorrow and on Monday.
First dose patients need to be over 40, or scond dose patients need to have had AstraZeneca more than 8 weeks ago.
The Clinical Commissioning Group which Wiltshire says its on track to achieving the goal of offering all adults in our region their first vaccine by Monday 19 July.
Gill May Director of Nursing and Quality at Wiltshire's CGG said:
"To get us over the line, and to ensure that as many people as possible are vaccinated before social distancing measures are lifted, we are calling on any people who have yet to arrange their appointment to not delay in coming forward. "
"With the country quite rightly in a celebratory mood, now is not the time to be complacent about Covid-19, but the absolute right time to get protected."
The coronavirus vaccine is currently open to all people aged over the age of 18, as well as to those aged 16 and over with an underlying health condition.
Being vaccinated protects not only individuals but also those around them and, as such, people should not delay in booking an appointment.
Those who have had an initial vaccination are reminded to get the second dose,which is available eight weeks after the date of the first.
