Two people supported after Amesbury drugs warrant

Police raided a property as part of County Lines investigations

Two vulnerable people are getting support, after being identified during a search warrant by Wiltshire Police in Amesbury.

An address in the town was raided on Saturday 30th November, as part of a week of action tackling County Lines drugs networks. |newtab)

Officers say the people inside had been exploited, with 'notable welfare and living conditions' concerns at the property.

Referrals have been made by police, to ensure they are supported by their housing association and Wiltshire Council social services.

An amount of cannabis was also found and seized.

One male will now complete a Community Resolution notice as a result.
