Yesterday evening officers stopped a vehicle in Durrington after officers observed 'poor driving.'

Wiltshire Police say not only did the vehicle have no valid insurance policy but the driver didn't have a driving licence.

"The passenger of the vehicle also permitted the driver to drive without a driving licence and no insurance.

"Both parties have been reported for traffic offences as well as the vehicle being seized."

This morning police also seized a vehicle on New Bridge Road in Salisbury, again for not having valid insurance.

The driver has also been reported for the offence, and faces not only a fine but having to pay to retrieve their vehicle.
