The main road into Salisbury has now reopened following a crash in the early hours of this morning.

The collision involved a single vehicle and happened just after midnight.

Wiltshire Police say a 17 year old old boy suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-threatening.

National Highways shut the A36 southbound between the A338 (Salisbury) and the A27 (White Parish).

The road has now been fully reopened.
