UPDATE: Man found dead in grounds of Salisbury Crematorium

It's not believed there's any wider risk to the public

A man has been found dead near the Crematorium in Salisbury on Barrington Road.

Wiltshire Police were called just after 3pm yesterday (Thursday 21st January) to reports that someone had been found deceased.

It's now been confirmed that the man was aged in his 40s and is of no fixed abode.

They've also said 'there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances'.

Officers are continuing to work to trace his next of kin.

A file is also being prepared for Wiltshire's Coroner.
