Ukrainian flag flying above Salisbury Guildhall

As a token of support for Ukraine and it's people, Salisbury Guildhall is now flying their national flag.

Salisbury City Council say they stand in solidarity with them.

Cllr Caroline Corbin, the Mayor of the City of Salisbury said:

“Like many, I am appalled by these horrific events and we stand in solidarity with the people of Ukraine. We support Ukraine as a sovereign, self-governing state. I hope that the situation will be peacefully resolved soon and our thoughts are with all those affected by the conflict.”

The flag is now above Salisbury Guildhall

It's not just Salisbury which is showing its support to Ukraine.

A flag has also been put up in Wilton, opposite the Greyhound pub.
