Two Wiltshire drivers hurt after Tidworth A338 crash
The road was closed from around 8am on Tuesday morning
A driver has been taken to hospital after being injured in a car crash this morning on the A338 in Tidworth.
It happened shortly before 8am outside Tidworth Service Station on St Andrew's Road and involved two cars.
Police say both drivers have suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The road is currently closed in both directions.
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: "We responded to a road traffic collision involving two vehicles which took place on the A338 outside Tidworth Service Station at around 7.45am this morning (10/12).
"Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries. One driver was taken to hospital and the other is receiving medical care on the scene
"Recovery of the vehicles is ongoing."
Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service (DWFRS) also attended the crash. In a statement, DWFRS said: "We were called at 7.52am to St Andrews Road, Tidworth to reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision. One crew from Amesbury attended where they made the scene safe, and our stop came in at 8.11am."
