Two vintage tractors have been stolen from barn near Landford.
Wiltshire Police are appealing for help and information after the pair of vehicles were taken sometime overnight on October 11-12.
Officers say the two vintage tractors are of huge sentimental value and were stolen from a barn in Hamptworth near Landford. The owners are said to be desperate for their safe return.
One of the tractors is a 1968 Fordson Dexta registration 855UBJ.
The other tractor is a 1957 Furguson 35 in grey and gold registration 722YUG.
PC Peter Jung said:
“The two tractors are immaculate and have been in the victim’s family all of her life so they have huge sentimental value. They are in an excellent condition and are often taken to various shows where they bring joy to a lot of people."
“We would urge anyone who either saw or heard suspicious activity in the area or anyone who has seen the vehicles to please get in touch immediately so they can be returned to the owner.”
