Two teenagers arrested in connection with Salisbury assault
One victim, a wheelchair user, suffered potentially life-changing injuries
Two teenage boys have been arrested in relation to a serious assault in Salisbury.
A man in his 30s, who uses a wheelchair, and his friend, in his 40s, were attacked in the green close to the Cathedral on Tuesday 19th July, continuing into the High Street and Crane Street.
One of the victims suffered potentially life-changing injuries to his leg during the assault.
Police have described the incident as 'sustained' and 'abhorrent'.
Following enquiries by Wiltshire officers, two local males, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
They've both been released on conditional bail.
