Two people taken to hospital after A36 crash
Three cars were involved in the collision near West Grimstead
Two men have needed hospital treatment after being involved in a collision on the A36 near West Grimstead.
Three vehicles were involved in the crash on the southbound side, at the junction with Windwhistle Road, on the approach to Pepperbox Hill, at around 5.40pm last night (Thursday 26th January).
Firefighters attended the scene, and made the area safe, but didn't need to cut anyone out of their vehicles.
They got help from an off duty doctor to help the casualties at the scene.
Wiltshire Police tell us a man in his 60s, and a man in his 80s, were both taken to hospital for their injuries, which aren't thought to be life-changing.
The road had to be closed in both directions for around three hours, to allow for the recovery of the vehicles involved.
