Two men have been jailed for more than sixteen years between them after admitting drug dealing in South Wiltshire.

22 year old Macauley Risby from School Lane in Amesbury, has been sentenced for possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs, and possession for criminal property.

A warrant was executed at a property in Salisbury, where Risby was living at the time, in December 2020.

A large amount of cash was found, along with more than 9,000 ecstasy tablets, 1,900 2C-B tablets, two kilograms of MDMA and two kilograms of ketamine - all of which was seized.

Risby admitted being involved in a large scale drugs network across the UK, and has now been jailed for 10 years.

In a separate case, 29 year old Cen Trota, from Rosslyn Road, Watford, admitted money laundering and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.

His Skoda car was stopped in Cherry Orchard Lane in Salisbury on September 2022, after officers witnessed a suspected drug deal.

17 wraps of white powder were found in the car.

A search was also carried out at an address in Wilton, which was linked to Trota, where police found more than two kilograms of cocaine and over £4,000 in cash.

The drugs had a street value of between £155,000 and £235,000.

A further £23,000 in cash was seized from a second vehicle, also linked to Trota.

He's been sentenced to six years and nine months in prison.

DC Mark Welch of the Wiltshire Police Fortitude Team said:

“These are two excellent sentences and I’m pleased that Risby and Trota will be off the streets for years to come.

“The Fortitude Team work non-stop to tackle offenders causing the most harm and misery to communities across Wiltshire, but we wouldn’t be able to do it without the public’s help in reporting their concerns to us.

“Any piece of intelligence makes a difference and enables us to build a picture of those harming our communities and lets us target the right people.”
