Man and woman arrested following Salisbury drugs raid

Two people have been arrested in Salisbury, after police executed a drugs warrant.

Officers raided a property in Shady Bower yesterday morning (Thursday 14th September).

Multiple snap bags containing Class A drugs were seized, along with a 'large amount of cash.

A police dog helped with the searches there.

A woman in her 20s has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs, with intent to supply.

They both remain in police custody.

Acting Sergeant Matthew Boon said:

“It is really important that the community is aware that their continued efforts in reporting information in relation to suspected criminal activity in their area helps us carry out warrants like this, which on this occasion has led to the arrest of two individuals.

“We have also removed Class A drugs off the streets, which will have a positive knock on effect in deterring further criminal activity to make Salisbury a safer place.”
