The special sausage roll flavour crisps have been launched for the Christmas period by Walkers, in collaboration with Lad Baby.

They're the YouTubers who have brought out festive singles paying tribute to the humble meat and pastry dish in 2018 and 2019.

The crisps are now available in stores, but some of the profits from them will support the Trussell Trust, which was founded in Salisbury.

Mark Hoyle, the dad behind Lad Baby took to the video sharing platform to explain that the partnership's been 9 months in the making.

And he says they're really excited about it:

"The thing that's special about these crisps, the thing that makes them so incredibly amazing is the fact that these crisps are going to do good. These crisps are doing good for the Trussell Trust charity.

"We've been working with Walkers, who have already pledged £1 million to the charity. Our limited edition crisps means that for every bag sold, 5p will go to the charity."

The Trussell Trust say they're 'so grateful' for the support they're getting from the snacks.

Emma Revie, chief executive of the charity said:

“We’re so grateful to LadBaby and Walkers for their support during the lead up to Christmas. It’s not right that anyone needs to use a food bank, at any time of year. But this can change – we can build a future where everyone can afford the basics.

"All of the money raised will help us support our network of food banks to provide emergency help to people, and work towards a UK where everyone has enough money for the essentials. We couldn’t continue to do what we do without this kind of support.”

The crisps are now on sale and are limited edition in the run-up to Christmas

They've posted on Twitter about the partnership:

Philippa Pennington, from Walkers said:

“We’re excited to be adding one of the nation’s most loved flavours – sausage rolls – to our offering this festive season, and supporting the amazing work of the Trussell Trust in the process.

"With huge demand for food banks this year, we want everyone to get behind LadBaby and help to raise even more money at Christmas for the Trussell Trust. There’s never been a more important time.”
