Tribute paid to Wiltshire dad of three who was "real family man"
Benjamin Thomas Swift died in Trowbridge last month
A father of 3 who died in Trowbridge last month has been described as a man who would do anything for his children.
Benjamin Swift, 39, died in Whiterow Park in August and now his partner of five years, Cheyanne, has issued a moving tribute to him.
"He was a sweet guy who really loved his family," she said.
Benjamin was a father of three, who are aged 15, 12 and two years old. Cheyanne said he would "do anything for them".
She said: “He always had a lot of time for the children and would build all sorts of things for them - he loved gardening and playing football with them. He was a real family man."
Cheyanne added that Benjamin was a "talented" joiner, having spent his whole life in Wiltshire. He'd learnt his trade after leaving school and being taken on as an apprentice.
"He really loved his job," she said.
Cheyanne said she feels lucky to have been part of Benjamin's life.
She said: “Benjamin knew a lot of people and had a lot of friends and I know he will be missed by a great many people.
“I feel really lucky to have known him and to have been part of his life. And I know there are so many people who feel the same. Benjamin will never be forgotten.”
Police are treating Benjamin's death as a non-suspicious sudden death.
Two men were arrested on suspicion of murder but have been released and are no longer considered suspects. They will face no further action.
