Police stepping up anti-social behaviour patrols in Amesbury
It's after trees were found set alight and cut down off Archers Way
Trees have been set alight and cut down in an Amesbury woodland - with police stepping up local patrols.
Officers say they've had increasing reports of anti-social behaviour in the space off Archers Way.
It's thought an accelerant was used in lighting the fires with other nearby trees left damaged.
Parents are asked to be mindful of the areas young people are going to, and note any items that could have been used to cause damage missing from households.
Police say they've removed several items from the site, and they'll continue to make checks in the area.
