£10,000 of tree surgeon equipment stolen from vehicle in New Forest

The theft happened in Bramshaw at the end of last week

Expensive tree surgery tools have been stolen from a vehicle in the New Forest, with Hampshire Police now investigating.

The kit, worth around £10,000, was taken on Lyndhurst Road in Bramshaw, sometime between 8.00pm last Thursday (21st September) and 7.10am on Friday 22nd.

Three climbing kits, three ground saws, a Stihl blower, three top handle chainsaws and a lowering kit were stolen from the vehicle.

Police now want to hear from anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in the area, or information about where the equipment might be now.

We're also asked to look out for the items being put up for sale locally, in unusual circumstances.
