The A30 out of Salisbury towards the Porton Down turning has been closed this afternoon (Friday 28th October).

It's after a trailer jack-knifed on the dual carriageway section at Thorny Down, on the northbound side.

Wiltshire Police's Specialist Ops tweeted from the scene of the incident:

We're told the driver has actually suffered minor injuries.

But the road is blocked, with officers diverting traffic off at the Thyme and Tides junction through Firsdown village.
