Tidworth man arrested following Andover assault
It's understood members of the public were also threatened
A man from Tidworth has been arrested, following an assault in an Andover car park.
Hampshire Police say a woman in her 20s was attacked by a man known to her, in the George Yard car park at around 3.30am on Saturday (17th June).
It's reported the man then got into her vehicle and refused to leave.
Officers also believe he also made threats towards members of the public during the same incident.
A 31 year old man, arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning ABH, stalking, and controlling and coercive behaviour, has since been released on police bail.
Hampshire Police want to hear from any witnesses, including those who were threatened, to help with their enquiries.
