Three men charged with poaching near Stonehenge
Wiltshire Police were called to an incident off the A303 on Sunday
Three men have been charged with a poaching offence, following an incident near Stonehenge.
Police were called to reports of people trying to catch rabbits illegally in fields south of the monument, near to the A303, yesterday afternoon (Sunday 29th October).
The group were arrested and have now been charged.
Lewis Hughes, who's 26 and of no fixed abode; 21 year old Jack Cooper from Romsey and James Kempster, aged 36, from Southampton are accused of daytime trespass in pursuit of game, under section 30 of the Game Act.
They've all been released on bail and due to appear at Salisbury Magistrates Court next month.
Hughes and Cooper on November 21st and Kempster on November 24th.
