Three injured in A30 crash near Winterslow

Two men and a woman have suffered serious injuries

Three people have been seriously hurt after a collision on the A30 near Winterslow on Monday afternoon (29/7).

A Volkswagen Polo, travelling southbound, is believed to have strayed across the central white line and hit a Vauxhall Corsa travelling in the opposite direction.

It happened around 2.20pm.

The driver of the Polo, a man in his 20s has suffered serious injuries and has been taken to hospital.

A man in his 40s, who was driving the Corsa, has sustained serious injures that are not thought to be life-changing.

But the passenger in the Corsa, a woman in her 40s, has suffered potentially life-changing injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident.

Wiltshire Police said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the driving of the Polo either prior to or at the time of the collision, or has dash cam footage.
