Three people arrested after stolen car stopped on A36 at Alderbury
The group have also been questioned on suspicion of drug offences
Three people have been arrested after a stolen car was stopped by police on the A36 at Alderbury.
Officers spotted an Audi on Sunday evening (2nd April), with the vehicle having been reported as taken without the owner's permission the night before.
Class B drugs were also found in the car when it was pulled over.
Two males, aged 23 and 17, and a 16 year old girl were arrested on suspicion of taking a vehicle without the owner's consent and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
The 23 year old was also arrested on suspicion of driving without a licence, or insurance.
All three have since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
Wiltshire Police also seized the vehicle.
