Three people arrested, with cash and drugs seized, in Chippenham
Officers stopped a car reported to be involved in suspicious activity
Police in Chippenham have arrested three people and seized cash and drugs, after spotting a suspicious car.
Officers pulled over a vehicle yesterday afternoon (Tuesday 14th January) and then searched a property in Ryan Avenue.
Around £40,000 in cash, a kilogram of cocaine and 8 kilos of methamphetamines were seized from the address.
A van arrived at the house during the incident, which was also searched.
Three men, aged 54, 45 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
Two of them are also being questioned on suspicion of money laundering.
The group all remain in custody at this time.
