A covid-19 booster vaccination walk-in clinic is open at Salisbury Medical Practice, Fisherton House this afternoon.

It is open from 4pm to 5:30pm.

Earlier this week another vaccination centre for booked appointments opened in an empty shop in Bourne Retail park.

Sarum Cathedral Primary Care Network (Salisbury Medical Practice and Harcourt Medical Centre) are hosting the walk-in clinic.

This is open to all local residents aged over 18 who need a 1st or 2nd vaccine (2nd must be at least 8 weeks after 1st.)

Or need a booster vaccine (must have had 2nd vaccine at least 3 months ago).

If you have had COVID-19, you must wait at least 28 days before having your vaccination.

A Spokesperson from Salisbury Medical Practice said:

"We want to help protect the local community before the Christmas period and keep everyone safe this winter.

"There is limited parking available, so please use public transport where possible.

"Salisbury Medical Practice, Fisherton House, Wilton Road SP2 7FD."
