A third person has been charged in connection with a Just Stop Oil protest at Stonehenge.

Orange cornflour was thrown over the stones on June 19th.

35 year old Luke Watson from Bishop's Stortford is charged with aiding and abetting damaging an ancient protected monument, and aiding and abetting causing a public nuisance.

He's due before Salisbury Magistrates on December 13th.

This follows two other people being charged last week, in connection with the incident.

73 year Rajan Naidu from Birmingham, and 22 year old Niamh Lynch from Bedford are both accused of destroying or damaging an ancient protected monument, and intentionally or recklessly causing a public nuisance.

They've been bailed to also appear at Salisbury Magistrates' Court on December 13th.

The Crown Prosecution Service has called for people not to comment or share information online about the case which could prejudice criminal proceedings and the right to a fair trial.
