Salisbury Hospice Charity has announced the Wessex Country Fair, will return to the Wilton House Estate on Saturday 6th August with organisers promising it'll be 'bigger and better than ever.'
For the first time there will be evening entertainment with West Country legends The Wurzels the headline act.
The music stage will be live from midday to 10pm on August 6th offering a variety of country, blues, jazz and folk music.
Local artists include Ribble, The Navy Larks, Sticky Toffee Jazz and The Acrustic Badger Band.
The main arena will welcome local community groups with demonstrations and performances, in addition to falconry shows and sheep dog acts.
The day is focused on whole family activity, with a variety of arena entertainment, craft demonstrations and marquee selling goods along with the ever popular dog show!
Old favourites the steam and vehicle exhibits, will be returning - as well as children’s attractions to include a fairground, donkey rides and competitions.
To complement the vehicle exhibits, a new feature for this year will be a “Show and Shine” for camper vans, which will allow visitors the opportunity to check out some features of these fabulous vehicles.
There will also be a food court and two bars available and the Hospice Village where visitors can drop in for some calm and respite from the day.
The proceeds of which will fund the vital care Salisbury Hospice provides free to members of its community.
