Man smashes hanging baskets at Salisbury supermarket

The damage was caused after staff challenged a potential shoplifter

A number of hanging baskets have been thrown to the ground and smashed at a Salisbury supermarket.

It happened at Tesco on Southampton Road, after staff challenged a man who attempted to leave the store with around £45 worth of goods.

He became aggressive and threatening towards the staff, before damaging the baskets.

The incident was at around 10.00am on Saturday 29th April.

Details have just been released, along with a photo of a man officers want to speak to.
