Three teens arrested in connection with burglary at home of elderly Downton man

Police investigating a burglary at the home of a man in his 90s in Downton have arrested three teenagers in connection with the incident.

Officers received a report of a break-in which happened around 12.50am in Church Leat in the village last Wednesday (9th February).

The pensioner had returned home late at night and saw three people flee the property.

A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police told Greatest Hits Radio Salisbury

"An 18-year-old woman, 18-year-old man and 14-year-old boy have been arrested in connection with the incident and released on conditional bail while our enquiries continue.
