Teenagers arrested in connection with hunting hares with dogs near Salisbury
They've been released under investigation

Two people have been arrested in connection with hunting hares with dogs to the south of Salisbury.
On the evening of the 28th July, Salisbury Community Policing Team officers located the 18 year and 14 year old males on farmland near Coombe Bissett.
The pair have since been released under investigation.
Police say that the dogs were removed and placed in a secure location where they will be well looked after.
Rural Crime Team Sergeant Rob Goacher said:
“Thanks to information received from members of the public, who provided an accurate location, Salisbury CPT officers were able to take decisive action.
“As farmers start to harvest the crops, hare coursers increasingly take advantage of the open fields to illegally hunt hares and other mammals with dogs. I would ask anyone who sees hare coursing in progress to call 999 or report online or call 101 should you find evidence of hare coursing having taken place.
"We do not advise people to approach suspected poachers, but video or photographic evidence taken from a safe distance can be helpful. Please do not put yourself or others at risk of harm.”
