Teenager struck by car in Salisbury City Centre

A teenage girl was taken to hospital after a collision with a car in Salisbury city centre.

Wiltshire Police were called to Castle Road at around 7:45am this morning (12th January).

The girl's injuries are not thought to be life threatening or life changing.

A Wiltshire Police spokesman said:

“Officers are currently at the scene of a road traffic collision in Salisbury.

“We were called to Castle Road at around 7.45am today (12/01) following a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

“The patient, a teenage girl, has been taken to Salisbury District Hospital by ambulance."

The road was shut for a couple of hours this morning, but the force have confirmed that it has now fully reopened.
