Teenager sexually assaulted while watching band at Wiltshire festival

The incident happened at the End of the Road event

A 16 year old girl's been sexually assaulted while she was in the crowd at a South Wiltshire music festival.

The victim was at the End of the Road event at the Larmer Tree Gardens when this happened on Saturday 3rd September, with police only just releasing the details.

The teenager was at the very front of the spectators on the main stage when she was assaulted during the headliner's first song at around 9.30pm.

She immediately tried to get help from security there, but the suspect wasn't found.

He's described as:

  • White
  • Over 6 feet tall
  • Aged between 40 and 60
  • Short grey hair
  • Wearing a black t-shirt with bold text
  • Blue jeans

Wiltshire Police stress that the organisers of the festival are 'fully engaged with enquiries' and assisting officers.
