A teenage motorcyclist has suffered serious injuries in a crash in Tidworth.

A 16 year old male's bike and a van collided on Lahore Road, next to the Tidworth Oval, just after midday yesterday (Tuesday 25th June).

The rider was taken to hospital for treatment, but his injuries aren't thought to be life-threatening.

The collision meant the road had to be shut throughout the afternoon, causing traffic tailbacks and disruption to bus services.

Wiltshire Police say their enquiries into what happened are still ongoing.

They're asking anyone with information about the crash, or dash cam footage from the area to contact them.
