Teen arrested after Police chase through Salisbury

A 19 year old man is being held in custody as enquiries continue

A teenage man has being held in police custody following a pursuit through Salisbury on Monday afternoon.

It happened around 5:45pm when a Renault Clio failed to stop on the A36, Southampton Road.

Officers proceeded to chase the vehicle through Petersfinger, Laverstock, Ford and into Old Sarum, where the car eventually stopped on The Portway, near Sherbourne Drive.

The occupants were seen fleeing the vehicle.

Officers later tracked down a 19 year old man who was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, fail to stop for police, aggravated taking a motor vehicle without consent, driving without a licence and driving without insurance.

He remains in custody as Police carry out their investigations.

They're appealing or any dash cam footage/CCTV of the vehicle or persons making off from the vehicle.
