Police in Amesbury are investigating a suspicious incident at a petrol station on Solstice Park.

We're told a man, who claimed to be an area manager, called the Co-Op store on Midsummer Place at around 11.00pm on July 20th.

He asked questions about fuel levels and stock numbers, saying another store hadn't received a delivery.

A man then later arrived at the store, claiming to be collecting stock that wad due to be transferred to another branch.

Nothing was taken, and police are releasing details now as they're sharing a CCTV image of a man police want to speak to.

If you can help identify him, or have any information, you're asked to call Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting reference number 54230076690.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
