Officers are investigating an incident at the Co-Op on Kelsey Road that happened last month.

At around 7.20pm on Thursday 19th November, a man went into the store to buy cigarette papers, handing over a £10 note.

He then repeatedly asked the cashier to change up some notes for him.

This confused the cashier, who has autism, with the thief getting away with a total of £218.

Do you recognise this man?

A colleague tried to go over and help the cashier, but another man engaged them in conversation, which meant she couldn't interrupt the incident.

Police have released some images of a man they'd like to speak to in connection with what happened.

If you recognise the man pictured, or can help with any information, you're asked to call officers on 101, quoting log number 54200115839.
