Suspected arson in Barford St Martin

Wiltshire Police are investigating the cause of a blaze on a farm

Police in Salisbury are treating a fire at a farm in Barford St Martin as a suspected arson incident.

Fire crews from Salisbury and Wilton went to Heath Farm Park at around 2.20am on Monday 15th August, to tackle a blaze involving a workyard and outbuildings.

They stayed on the scene for around six hours, with support from an engine from Tisbury.

The cause of the blaze is unknown at this stage, but it's believed it could have been started deliberately.

There's an appeal from Wiltshire Police for anyone who might have seen suspicious activity in the area to get in touch with them.
