Stonehenge among top 10 EV-friendly tourist destinations
There's some famous places on the list
Stonehenge has ranked among the top 10 tourist destinations that are electric vehicle friendly, as more than half of British families planning a holiday in the UK this year.
And with research suggesting Brits willing to travel as many as 200 miles for their holiday, an ‘EV Holiday Hotspot Index’ has been created by GRIDSERVE to help people with EV’s organise their trips.
Many of the top tourist destinations are inaccessible by public transport, leading many to drive, emitting an estimated 600,000 tons of CO2.
Here are some notable mentions of the top 10:
- Beamish
- Hampton Court Palace
- Eden Project
