The Summer Solstice sunrise at Stonehenge is going to be streamed live on the internet so it can be watched by people around the world.

Around 10,000 people are expected to turn up at the ancient monument in Wiltshire for the shortest night of the year.

For those unable to attend (or for those who would prefer to watch it from the comfort of their own bed) there is a live stream to watch from 4am:

This is the first time since 2019 that people have been able to gather at Stonehenge for the Summer Solstice due to Covid.

Last year's livestream of the sunrise attracted over 200,000 viewers

Meanwhile, Police and English Heritage have asked anyone visiting the site for the event to be sensible and 'respect the stones'.
