Stolen motorcycle reunited with owner three months after theft in Salisbury
It was taken at the end of last year
A man was arrested on Wednesday (17th March) on suspicion of the theft of a motor vehicle in Salisbury, but has since been released on unconditional bail.
Overnight on December 3rd 2020, Wiltshire Police received a report of a Honda motorbike being stolen from an address on Fowlers Hill.
Fast forward 3 months and officers were able to recover the stolen vehicle after attending an address in Laverstock.
A man was arrested at the scene and the bike was reunited with it's owner.
On Salisbury Police's Facebook page, Inspector Pete Sparrow said:
"Thanks to some fantastic community intelligence Salisbury Police were able to attend an address in Laverstock yesterday and recover this stolen motorbike.
Policing relies on the support of our communities and we were delighted to be able to respond quickly and take positive action. Partnerships can work on many levels."
