Salisbury District Hospital's charity has launched it's annual Christmas raffle as they push towards their target of raising a million pounds this year.

It's one of the Stars Appeal's most popular fundraisers - raising close to £20,000 in 2023.

This year's raffle has a top prize of £2,500 with the winner announced on 9th January next year.

It helps fund new equipment, enhancements to buildings, and ongoing projects supporting patients across Salisbury Hospital including the Stars Appeal Wi-Fi, hospital chaplaincy, and support for patients with cancer and provision of accommodation for parents of poorly babies and children in hospital.

The raffle's second prize is £500 and third prize is £250, while other cash prizes are also up for grabs.

Tickets cost £1 and are available on the Stars Appeal website, from the Stars Appeal Bookshop and raffle ticket sellers in the Hospital’s Main Entrance. Online entries close on 5th January and the draw takes place on 9th January 2025.

The winners will be announced on the Stars Appeal website.

Chair of the Stars Appeal Ambassadors, Consultant Surgeon Mr Graham Branagan said: “We are so grateful to everyone who supports the Stars Appeal and in doing so helps us to greatly enhance care for our patients.

"By taking part in the Christmas Raffle you can help us achieve even more. Thank you.”
