Join the St. George’s Day Celebrations in the Market Place

A day of celebrations is planned today (Sunday 23rd April) in Salisbury’s Market Place and Guildhall Square for St. George’s Day.

With Mayor Cllr Tom Corbin in attendance, the day’s events will be announced by Salisbury’s Town Crier just before 10am.

The day has been designed with family entertainment at the forefront with most activities free to take part in.

Workshops, street food, live music, Morris Dancing, face painting, and a free Blue Badge Tour are just some of what’s on offer for people to enjoy.

The day’s events include the following highlights:

  • Salisbury Town Crier at the Guildhall steps
  • Merry Go Round Storytelling
  • Mr Brown’s Pig Puppet Show
  • 12.30pm & 3.15pm – St. George v The Dragon

The event is on from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
