Spate of damage in South Wiltshire thought to be caused by a vehicle

Police are now hoping the public may be able to help with their investigations

A spate of damage, thought to be caused by a vehicle, has happened in rural villages in South Wiltshire.

In the early hours of Thursday (28th January), between 3am and 4am, a vehicle is believed to have travelled from Lover/Redlynch area towards Hamptworth and Landford, leaving a trail of damage.

These include a road sign in Redlynch, a car parked in a layby on Hamptworth Road and a telephone box opposite the Cuckoo Inn in Hamptworth.

Now it's hoped that someone may have some information about this incident that could help police with their enquiries.

Anyone who knows anything about these incidents is being asked to call them on 101 and ask PCSO Matt Murray.
