Spate of burglaries across New Forest

A number of garages in Burgate were targeted in a four day period.

Hampshire Constabulary are investigating burglaries at eight residential properties across the New Forest between Thursday 5th and Sunday 8th of November with power tools and other small items stolen.

Several garages in Burgate Court on Salisbury Road were broken into.

Three commercial properties were also targeted including The Railway in Ringwood and the London Tavern at Poulner.

Police have reiterated crime prevention advice around burglaries

  • You know your local communities. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, such as someone tampering with a lock on a neighbour’s shed, please call us immediately.
