Six hurt after crash on A303 near Thruxton

Fire-fighters had to cut some casualties free

Three cars collided on the A303 eastbound near Thruxton around 4.20pm yesterday.

Hampshire Police say one vehicle rolled over in the crash and two people had to be freed by the fire service.

Six people were injured, five are believed to have suffered minor injuries with one more seriously hurt.

The road was closed for more than six hours to enable investigation work to take place.
