The League of Friends shop at Salisbury District Hospital is marking its tenth anniversary - after bouncing back from Covid closures.

The store, in the foyer of the hospital's main entrance, sells items to raise money for the League.

Confectionery brings in the most cash at the League of Friends Shop - for all those patients needing a sweet treat!

That supports projects around the hospital, much like the Stars Appeal.

Sweets have been the predominant focus of the shop, with knitwear, toys, cards and even Christmas decorations sold there.

In the 10 years since it launched, it's made between £20,000 and £40,000 a year in profits going directly to the charity.

Covid closures means it's been a difficult couple of years, but they're on track to bring in around £25,000 for the cause in their anniversary year.
