Sarum Lights returns to Salisbury Cathedral with 'Time' art exhibition
It's the fifth time the display has been held in the city
More than 10,000 people are expected to visit Salisbury Cathedral this week to view the latest Sarum Lights display.
The fifth event, created by Luxmuralis, explores the human relationship with the concept of time with artwork shone onto the walls of the 800 year old Cathedral.
It welcomed it's first visitors on Tuesday evening, with the display running until Saturday 9th November.
Cathedral Canon Treasurer Kenneth Padley told Greatest Hits Radio he's delighted to have the exhibition back again.
"We know it's a great opportunity for people to come and engage with the Cathedral in a slightly different way," he said.
Artistic Director of Luxmuralis, Peter Walker, told us the concept of time gave them a lot of options.
"Talking about time, which is a subject which has many different facets, it allows us artistically to create many different installations, build them into the artwork and create these immersive experiences," he said.
Peter added he hopes people can connect with the exhibit.
He said: "When we look at our phones, we're not part of anything, we are purely spectators, and often just consumers.
"Here, we're not consumers, we make it so you own it, you feel it, you're in it and you have that big experience."
