One of Salisbury's biggest charity shopping experiences is to return in October after a two year break.

The Rockbourne Fair, which raises money for the Stars Appeal was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic.

It will return in October, though, from the 13th until the 15th.

In 2019, the event managed to raise £54,000 for the charity.

In order to allow for social distancing, the Salisbury Racecourse shopping experience will have a slightly different lay out to usual with over 90 sellers.

Bev Moulding, chair of the organising committee, said:

“After what’s been a very difficult year for so many, we are thrilled to be hosting the Fair again. We have listened carefully to our stallholders and customers about their concerns and have worked hard, sourcing the very best stalls to create a unique shopping experience in the safest possible environment.

The fair prides itself on the breadth of the offering, with something for all ages and for those with pocket money spend through to those looking for that special gift.

We look forward to raising some much-needed funds for Salisbury Hospital. Come with friends, enjoy lunch in the restaurant - and Shop the Rock!”
